On this episode meet Eastern Iowa Honor Flight President Lynette Voss. RAGBRAI chose the Honor Flight Network as the Community Fund beneficiary for RAGBRAI LII. The Honor Flight Network is a national nonprofit with 130 hubs dedicated to honoring America’s veterans by bringing over 300,000 of them to their memorials in Washington, D.C., since 2005, at no cost. Lynette shares some insight into the organization and the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight hub. Also on the show is RAGBRAI Rider and veteran, Jimmy Mindoro, who shares his thoughts on the Honor Flight along with some stories on friends and family who have experienced an Honor Flight.
