VOn Ketelsen :
FFA Today, brought to you by the Carroll County Cattlemen's Association. I'm Vaughn Kettleson. Oriah Miners is a member of the IKM Manning FFA chapter. Oriah, what prompted you to join FFA?
Oriah Meiners :
FFA is a national organization, and it's a big part of our communities. And seeing everyone else being involved in it, like hearing stories from when my dad was in high school and involved, and looking up to Brooke Booth, who is a really big, active FFA member, I've just always been interested in joining the FFA.
VOn Ketelsen :
Let's talk about some of the things, projects, and such you've done with FFA so far.
Oriah Meiners :
I am now serving as a 2024-2025 IK Manning Chapter Secretary, and I've been the president of the Conducted Meetings for two years. We made it to state this past year, and I've helped with FFA breakfasts. I've helped at meetings and stuff like that.
VOn Ketelsen :
Sounds like this is something you'd recommend for students to take a look at, huh, being an FFA?
Oriah Meiners :
Yes, I encourage everyone to join FFA.
