Coach Matt Campbell has emphasized urgency and a lack of complacency during spring practice. The team is looking to replace key seniors and identify new leaders. They have added several transfers, including Yale's Tamatoa McDonough, Tulsa's Vontroy Malone, and UNI's Cannon Butler, to bolster their defensive line. The 2025 schedule includes home games against Arizona, Arizona State, and BYU, and six opponents who won at least nine games last season, presenting a challenging road ahead.
